One of my favorite singles of the past year.

Starting today, this should finally be a pretty regularly updated blog again. I think I needed a nice long break from the rough and tumble hardscrabble go-go non-stop world of blogging for approximately 15 or so people.

So, with that said, let’s start it off mellow this week and slowly build our way into something a little more violent.

For some reason, this album has come thundering back into my rotation in the last couple of weeks. Probably because its great.

Because it’s after lunch and you need an instrumental epic. And because I listen to this album at least once a week.

I hate the term “underrated”, but The Damnwells are quite underrated. I think the whole One Last Century album is still free on their web site. But you should probably go download Air Stereo and Bastards of the Beat sometime soon.

I was a little late to the party on Transmitter Failure, but it’s been one of my more pleasant surprises of 2009.
